To become famous can
require a lot of effort unless you were born in the spotlight or
you wind up at the right place, at the right time, doing the
right thing, and meeting the right people.
Your fame status can also be tied
to your platform or talent. If what you have to offer (products,
services, talent, and/or skills) is wanted by a large enough
audience, the only thing holding you back is your ability to
make that audience aware of who you are.
A common way to make this happen
is by consistently marketing and publicizing yourself. Several
ways to do this is by sending out press releases, writing
articles and books, submitting your articles for syndication,
speaking and hosting seminars, writing newsletters, television
and radio interviews, networking and volunteer work.
There are, of course, many more
items to consider, but a good publicity campaign will only be as
good as its implementation and consistency. |
